Haile Scale is a unique Entrepreneurship and Acceleration program.
We aim to foster and advance the tech entrepreneurship sector within the Israeli-Ethiopian community, empowering participants with valuable skills and abilities, creating impactful ventures for a better world, and increasing the number of start-ups among Israeli-Ethiopians.

About the Program
The Haile Scale program is designed and led by a partnership of Israel’s leaders in Tech, entrepreneurship and innovation: Vision Elements, The External & Executive Education at Reichman University, and the Adelson School of Entrepreneurship at Reichman University, and with the support of the Israeli Innovation Authority.

How to Get Started?
01.
Candidates must have an undergraduate degree, and at least one year of work experience
02.
Entrepreneurs should have a background in the STEM fields, entrepreneurship,​ or other relevant fields
03.
In specific cases, personal interviews will be held with a member of the program leadership team
04.
The final cohort will be comprised of about 40 professionally diverse, outstanding
individuals
05.
The program is 80% subsidized. Each participant will pay
a minimal participation fee
The Academic Director

Dr. Yossi Maaravi
Dean of the Adelson School of Entrepreneurship at Reichman University
​Yossi obtained his B.A. (magna cum laude) from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, where he studied psychology and was part of the "Amirim" interdisciplinary honors program. He completed his PhD. in Business Administration in the direct program for excellent PhD. students at Tel Aviv University.
His research focuses on behavioral decision-making, negotiation, creativity, and innovation.
​
Alongside academic research and publishing, he is also the author of two children's books and a book on negotiation. Dr. Maaravi has more than 20 years of experience in teaching and training young adults, students and managers from Israel, the US, Singapore, Germany, and China.
Besides academic teaching and research, he has vast field experience both as an entrepreneur and as a management consultant working with leading Israeli companies.
